Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics at Shenzhen United Family Hospital (SZU) provides with high-quality outpatient and inpatient care for your children. Our pediatricians have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in children and can help prevent and manage various health problems in infants, children and adolescents. In order to address the special healthcare needs of children who are often too young or too shy to talk, our medical staff have been highly-trained in the physical, social, and emotional development of children. Additionally, children tend to present with different symptoms from adults and therefore require different treatment and care. Our pediatricians are specially-trained to recognize the importance of these different, especially in newborns and young kids. We provide a full range of services including well child care and the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric disease processes.

We provide a full range of services for children, including preventive care and disease treatments. We work closely with many pediatric subspecialists around the world and cooperate with medical professionals within our own hospital (i.e. psychologists, surgeons, and ER doctors), so that we can adequately assess the various health needs of children and recommend the appropriate treatment.
