Qianlan HUANG

Dr. Huang studied at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from 2006. In 2011, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Moxibustion in 2014.

Guided by the theoretical basis of TCM meridians and zang-fu syndrome differentiation, combined with the practices of Dong’s special acupoints and Jin’s 3-needle, Dr. Huang specializes in common chronic pain and gastrointestinal diseases.  She adapts TCM external treatment methods, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, ear acupuncture, etc., and matches them with Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicines in the therapy.

Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Huang worked as an acupuncturist for five international cruise lines, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Windstar Cruises and Oceania Cruises. Dr. Huang has rich experience in the treatment of common chronic pain including arthritis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, ganglion cyst, and menstrual disease, stroke sequelae, facial paralysis, insomnia, constipation, obesity, migraine and other medical conditions.

Dr. Huang has 8 years of clinical practice experience. In addition to her extensive focus on clinical practice, Dr. Huang is also a member of the Chinese Society of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, and published academic papers in the famous medical journals, namely the “World Chinese Medicine” and “Hunan Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine”.
