Jianmin XU

Dr. Xu graduated from Zhejiang Medical University Department of Medicine in 1983. In 1991, he obtained his master’s degree from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University (Shanghai Medical University). He was successively hired by Jinan University as a professor and doctor’s tutor, and by Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science as a doctor’s tutor.

Dr. Xu has over 30 years of clinical practice experience. Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Xu Jianmin spent 21 years as the director of the Department of Radiology at Shenzhen People’s Hospital.

In addition to his professional focus in imaging diagnostics, Dr. Xu has also won a number of second and third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen, and is an expert on special government allowance commissioned by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Since 1998, this allowance program has recruited and trained more than 20 postgraduates, 2 doctors and 1 postdoctoral fellow. In 2000, he was awarded the top ten medical workers in the Shenzhen Municipal Health System; after that, he was awarded the top ten medical technology workers in the Shenzhen Municipal Health System.

Dr. Xu has served as the chairman of the Radiology Committee of the Shenzhen Medical Association for three consecutive terms, the deputy chairman of the Radiology Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, and a part-time member in many social academic organizations. Dr. Xu was also on the editorial board members of journals such as the Chinese Journal of Radiology, the Journal of Practical Radiology, the Journal of Clinical Radiology, the Chinese Journal of Radiology and the Medical Imaging Technology Journal.
