Biography

Dr. Huang Yuzhang graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong (HKU Med) in 2012 with a Master of Public Health degree (MPH, 2012). In 2017, he began pursuing a Master of Health Science (MHS, 2017) and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH, 2017) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), achieving candidacy for DrPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2021.
Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Huang served as an honorary resident ENT physician at Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) in Hong Kong, and as an assistant researcher in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2013. In 2020, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Clinical Research Center (GCP), ENT surgeon, and Sleep Medicine Center physician at Beijing United Family Hospital.
Dr. Huang’s clinical expertise includes laser sinus surgery, laser laryngeal surgery, laser middle ear surgery, tinnitus and vertigo solutions, hearing impairment solutions, cochlear implant surgery, pediatric sleep development assessments, and adenoid solutions.
Academically, Dr. Huang holds the following positions: Adjunct professor on the national project team for “Prevention and Intervention of Major Diseases in Old Age” at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (since September 2020), Master of Public Health supervisor at City University of Hong Kong (since October 2024), professional English course supervisor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (since November 2024), and adjunct associate professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (since June 2022).
