Wei WANG

Dr. Wei Wang graduated from Weifang Medical University in 2002 with a Master of Surgery degree. Dr. Wang received training in Beijing (Beijing Tongren Hospital), Prague (6th European Urologist Resident Education Pogramme), London (Clinical fellow, King’s College Hospital, NHS Work Permit holder), and Leuven (European Urologist Scholarship Programme Visitor, Leuven University Hospital). During these times, he undertook extensive research in prostate cancer, bladder cancer, LUTS and andrology, which resulted in several publications on these topics.

Dr. Wang has over 20 years of clinical experience in Urology.he has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating common and complex diseases in Urology and Andrology.Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Wang worked at Capital Medical University Beijing Tongren Hospital. He is a urologic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of genitourinary cancers and urinary calculi using open, laparoscopic, and endoscopic surgical techniques. He is a specialist in andrology (men’s health, male sexual/erectile dysfunction, low testosterone management) and infertility management. Dr. Wang is also skilled in managing lower urinary tract disorders (caused by enlarged prostate or bladder dysfunction, or incontinence), nocturia, chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain, and other general benign and malignant urology conditions.

Dr. Wang holds many professional affiliations. He is the general secretary of the Society of Laproendoscopic Surgeons of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care. He is the vice president of Youth Committee of Urology of the Beijing Medical Association. He is the council member of the Chinese Urological Association Youth Committee (CAU) and council member of CUA Section of Urological Research. He is the member of European Association of Urology, American Urological Association, and Society of International Urology. Dr. Wang is on the Editorial Board of the Chinese Medial Journal (English Edition), Modern Urology and Urology (digital edition) and is a regular reviewer for BJUI international and many others.
