Xiaofang Yu

Dr. Yu received his medical degree from Tongji Medial College at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 1982, In 1990, he received his PhD of Medicine from Tongji Medial College, HUST. Dr. Yu completed his residency in the Department of General Surgery at HUST’s Tongji Hospital in 1990, where he rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases to general surgical diseases.

Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Yu served in the Shenzhen People`s Hospital for 30 years as an expert in general surgery, hepatobiliary, and pancreas.

Dr. Yu has with almost 40 years of extensive clinical experience. Apart from specializing in the treatment and diagnosis of abdominal surgical diseases, he was also the vice president of Shenzhen People’s Hospital and completed a fellowship in Multiorgan Transplantation, London Health Science Center, University Western Ontario, Canada. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yu is published in prominent medical journals, including “Chinese Journal of Experimental Surgery”, “Chinese Journal of Practical Surgery” “Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery”.

Dr. Yu is a member of The Biliary Surgeons Committee of Association of Chinese Surgeon by the present and also he is the Vice-chairman of Society of Surgery in Guangdong Medical Association by 2018.
